"HI!

My name is Taffy. I'm a chocolate brindle, American Pit Bull Terrier cross (mum thinks I have Lab and Pointer in me too). I live in BSL-riddled Ontario Canada. I was rescued from a municipal pound in St.Thomas Ontario by a rescue group called Animal Aide of St.Thomas, I came from the very anti-pitbull city of London, Ontario. I now live in Toronto with my new Mum and her brother.

I like eating stuff off the ground, or eating stuff Mum gives me, and eating stuff she's eating. Eating stuff is good.

I don't like cats much. Or squirrels, I wish Mum would let me get at them! I tend to get reallly excited around other dogs, sometimes I'm downright rude (Mum says I play too rough for some dogs' taste)... Mum thinks I didn't get enough doggie socialization, when I was living with my old owner. She might be right, but I can't remember. I do have other doggie friends though, mostly boys! Leo, Junior, Wolfie, and I like that shep x puppy that just moved in across the way too (I don't know his name).

I wish I didn't have to wear a muzzle. BSL really stinks. So many mean dogs don't have to wear one, and they get to bark and me and run off leash. Why do I have to wear one? Mum says it's because some people don't like me because of how I look. What's wrong with how I look? Why are people so weird? I dunno... I'm just a dog. I guess it's a people-thing. Maybe they should wear muzzles... then they'd maybe stop making me wear mine..."
