It's been a while since this thing's been updated. Fall wasn't as fun this year as last year... Opa was always busy with his Mom, and my Mum and her brother were working a lot...

But I did get to go to Killbear park in late summer/early fall.

Here are a few photos taken around the end of the summer, and through the fall.

And that's pretty much it...

Soon the first snow will come, and it'll be too wet and too cold to go anywhere fun. Which means four or five months of doing nothing....until spring comes again. It makes me kind of sad.

Oh well.

What have I been up to lately?

Weeelll....
I visited Oma's house again two weeks ago. I got to run around and be an idiot, and play with the garden hose and all that good junk:

Then I got to go to our favorite beach last week....

BUT... while there I wasn't allowed to go swimming. The water was bad, Mum called it an "Algae Bloom". It didn't smell, but looked really gross!! We'd never seen that bay ever look like that! It was really dissapointing. :(

But today, I got to go to TWO parks! First Scarborough Bluff Park, where some ugly crossbreed dog tried to eat me... and there were so many illegally off-leash dogs we had to leave.

After we had to leave Scarborough Bluff Park, we went down to Bluffer's Park since it looked almost deserted (even though Mum had to PAY for Opa's car to park there)... It was much better down there. And I got to go SWIMMING!!!

I got to go to the park yesterday!!

Opa and me! (I refused to look at the camera, but then a shih tzu walked behind Mum and I couldn't help it.. D:)

Mum told us to hang back while she took photos of some ducks, and swans.

Then we went to the other side of the park to where there's a sandy beach, and a new path they've been building. Normally the beach is off limits to dogs, but at this time of year the "no dogs allowed" signs aren't up and people take their dogs for long walks on it. It was windy and a bit cold that day, so there weren't many dogs at all...

Mummy was talkin' about how Toronto has banned dogs from the beaches in the city, and we're not allowed to swim in the lake anymore on any Toronto beach-fronts at all, because we're "dirty" and people can't swim where dogs are or some weird thing. I just think the mayor is a cat-lover and I hope he gets eaten by fleas!! Mum says not to worry though, she knows lots of "secret" places where I can swim, and there's always our favorite beach in Whitby! :3

Man, winter sucks.... I'm so bored! Nothing fun has happened since I went to Vancouver. :(

I can't wait for it to get warm enough to go for car rides, and go back to the different parks with Opa and Mum!! I want to go back to the beach and go swimming again!

I got my shots today. The doctor was nice and gave me a cookie afterwords. Mum said I did good because I didn't cry for the needles, or when the doctor stuck that thing up my butt.... Mum says it's called a thermometer, whatever that is... it felt weird.

It was so cold waiting for the bus!! Even with my sweater on, I was sooooo cold....it kinda sucked. My sweater is cute though, maybe I'll get Mum to post photos of me in it later.

Mum also bought me a new crate yesterday. It's smaller than my normal one, but I still think it's fun to go in and out of it all the time.

I also got a new leash! It's long and bright orange, Mum says it's for our walks in the woods, and for when we go north again next year.

I wish Opa visited more often. When he comes over, we go fun places! Mum says we may go to Grandma's place next week some time and play in her backyard one more time before it snows. I hope we get to go!

....jeeze it's cold tonight. I'm glad Mum turned the little space-heater on!!

Monday was the second anniversary of me coming to live with my Mum and her brother. We spend the day at Oma's house and I got to eat barbecue and run around like an idiot for the whole day. It was a blast!

I got to go to Gram's house!

At first I wasn't sure what was going on. I got dragged onto the bus when I thought I was going for a car ride... then onto the subway, then another bus! When we got off the bus I didn't know where we were, but Mum sure seemed to know where she was going...

We went through a bunch of houses, then a park, then a few more houses... and suddenly I knew where we were! I'd been there a few times last summer! And even better, Opa was in the driveway and the old lady Mum calls "Oma" was there too. I was so excited! Even the rain didn't bother me!

"Yay! No muzzle and no leash!"

"Oh SURE...ignore me. Go ahead... you'll be sorry!"

"If I help you clean up, will you come play with me?"

"Wait for me! You can't cut that Ivy without my help!"

Mum yelled at me so I had to stop trying to climb the ladder... but I was only trying to help Opa! :(

Mum isn't home much lately... and I'm tired of being inside! I wanna go out to the park, but it's still too cold and wet!!

I want spring to get here already! And I want Mum to be home too so we can do stuff...

Last weekend was really confusing...

Mum took me over to this other building and stuck me in an empty apartment that smelled really funny, and there was a lot of noise and people going back and forth for several days! And all of Mum's stuff showed up at the strange new place and we never went back to the other place where I'd been living!!

I was SO confused!! But... then Opa came over and everything started smelling normal again and it was all good. Though my crate isn't in the livingroom anymore. I sleep where Mum sleeps now! It's kinda weird... but at least I get my own TV!

At least this place has sunbeams I can lay in like the other place did... :P

Things are kinda stressed at home right now. Mum and her bro' have been acting funny for the past week, and I'm not sure what's going on... I keep overhearing them talking about "maybe moving", whatever that means.

Sounds kinda bad... I hate not knowing what the heck people are up to sometimes...

Oh well, at least my christmas presents finally got here! Now I have three pretty new collars to flaunt when Mum takes me for walks. Maybe I'll post the pictures later.

Mum says I'm getting fat....! :(

She changed my food again a week or so ago. She says I'm allergic to chicken formula dog food... and since she put me on this expensive duck and potato dog food I've not been scratching as much, and my ears aren't smelly or red anymore. My coat is getting softer too, Mum says it's cuz of the salmon oil in the new dog food.

I wish I could keep eating this stuff... but Mum says it's REALLY exepsnsive and she's not sure if she can get it again after this bag is finished... which she says may take a month or so. She says it depends on if she can get shifts at work enough to afford it. If not, she says we'll have to go back to the Kirkland Lamb & Rice stuff I used to eat, even though it gave me soft poos...

Mum also showed me pictures of my christmas presents that are coming in the mail. She said she was sorry it couldn't get here on christmas, but that it was better for the lady making the stuff that it be done later...

I can't wait! :)

Snowstorms are fun!

You wouldn't believe how HARD it is to do zoomies while on-leash!! Holy cow!
And it's not easy catching snowballs when you're muzzled either.....

It was snowing again this morning...

...but then it turned to rain and now the snow is all slushy and gross. I hate it when it's slushy and wet. I want crunchy snow!! D:

I miss going to the park. But Mum won't go anymore. She says it's too cold and I'll have to wait until the spring to start going again. That kinda sucks. :(

So, what's been going on....

Things have been pretty interesting lately.... though I keep forgetting to update about it. Mum has been home a lot more than she used to. I like it a lot when she's home because I get to spend all day out of my crate!

I went to another big pit bull co-op walk just before Halloween. Lots of other dogs were there, but Mum wouldn't let me play with them. Opa was there too. It was fun for a while but I was glad when we went back to the car to head home... I was so tired!

After halloween, we had one more chance to visit our favorite parks... it was nice.

It's fall now, almost winter... Mum fixed my sweater so it fits better. We haven't had snow yet, which is weird. Last year by now we had at least had frost! Mum says she's never seen the malpe tree drop it's leaves this late in the season before. There was no bad weather to make them fall earlier I guess.

Christmas is coming. I wonder if I'll get any presents this year...
